1. About TidyFrame

TidyFrame is a storage-cleaning utility that helps users identify screenshots, large videos, exact duplicates, and visually similar photos. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android app.

2. Photo and video access

TidyFrame requests access to photos and videos only to provide its core cleanup features. Depending on your Android version and permission choices, the app analyzes either the media you select or the permitted media library.

File metadata, content hashes, perceptual hashes, and thumbnails are processed locally on your device. TidyFrame does not transmit your photos, videos, scan results, or cleanup history to us.

TidyFrame never removes media automatically. Items you select are sent to Android's system confirmation screen and moved to the system trash only after you approve the request. Trash retention and restoration are controlled by Android and your gallery provider.

3. Information stored on your device

The app stores a limited amount of information locally:

• Your Lifetime Pro entitlement status.
• The UTC date and number of Free-tier cleanup items used.
• Temporary scan results while the app is running.
• Google Play reviewer access status when authorized review access is used.

Clearing the app's data removes locally stored settings and scan information.

4. Purchases

Google Play processes the optional Lifetime Pro purchase. TidyFrame receives purchase status and a purchase token from Google Play so it can grant or restore access. We do not receive or store your payment-card information.

Google's handling of purchase information is governed by the Google Play and Google privacy terms that apply to your account.

5. Data collection and sharing

TidyFrame does not collect or share required user data with the developer or other companies. The app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Network communication initiated by the app is limited to Google Play Billing services provided by Google.

6. Security and retention

Media analysis takes place on the device, cleartext network traffic is disabled, and no remote media database is maintained. Locally stored preferences remain until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. An eligible Lifetime Pro purchase may later be restored through Google Play.

7. Children's privacy

TidyFrame is a general utility intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when TidyFrame's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
