QR Scanner does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All scan history, settings, and created QR codes are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.

2. Camera Usage

The camera is used solely for scanning QR codes and barcodes. Camera data is processed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit) and is never uploaded, recorded, or shared with any third party.

3. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions, all of which are optional except Camera:

• Camera (required): Used to scan QR codes and barcodes.
• Internet (required): Used for displaying ads and opening web links from scanned codes.
• Wi-Fi / Location (optional): Used to scan nearby Wi-Fi networks when creating a Wi-Fi QR code, so you can select a network instead of typing the name manually. Location data is not stored or transmitted.
• Contacts (optional): Used to import contact information when creating a Contact or Phone QR code. Contact data is used only to populate QR code fields and is not stored or transmitted.
• Calendar (optional): Used to import upcoming events when creating an Event QR code. Calendar data is used only to populate QR code fields and is not stored or transmitted.
• Storage (optional): Used for saving and exporting QR codes to your device gallery.

You can revoke any optional permission at any time through your device settings.

4. Advertising

This app displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain data for advertising purposes, including device identifiers and usage data, according to their own privacy policy. No scan content, QR code data, or personal information from the app is shared with advertisers.

5. Analytics and Crash Reporting

This app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand how the app is used and to identify and fix crashes. These services may collect:

• App usage data (screens visited, features used)
• Crash logs and performance data
• Device information (model, OS version)
• Anonymous identifiers

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

7. Data Security

All app data remains on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security measures. We do not operate any servers that store your data.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
